RARE Orange Celestite

Absolutely GORGEOUS tabular terminations on this very rare specimen! Definite collector’s piece.

This Crystal has only been mined in two locations. The last time it was mined was in the 50s.

Boxes of these specimens were bought out from a museum during the fall of the USSR in the 90s.
They had been sitting for decades unopened until a crystal shop acquired them and I bought one from them.

Celestite is very sensitive to sunlight, I recommend keeping completely out of any direct sunlight. The color will fade very fast if exposed. Also, Celestite cannot get wet, it will crumble and break apart. This stone is fragile, natural shedding from the matrix (host rock) of the Celestite is normal.
I will ship it in a box with bubble wrap and then inside another box with packing peanuts.
