Not only is it named after the town where we grew up, but we also designed it as a representation of our heritage, specifically our grandparents.. The Nyce family has a long history associated with Doylestown, PA. Our grandfather owned Nyce’s Feed Mill & Supply Yard. He sold feed for animals, coal, grain, and other farm and home supplies. The Doylestown Check Valance features a rich blue and cream gingham fabric that is sure to add a fresh, happy look and charming energy to your cozy cottage or vintage farmhouse. There’s something old-fashioned about this dynamic check pattern, that also offers an energetic, fresh vibe. The faux Roman Valance offers a unique update to your farmhouse windows, adding the charm and interest of a Roman shade with the ease and convenience of a modern upgrade. The curtain features crisp white fabric ties that are approx. 28.0″ long and 14.50″ and sewn in place along the top half of the valance, front and back. This design creates the look of a real Roman shade that can be drawn up and tied. The straps can be tied into neat bows that rest at the bottom of the valance. Back tabs and a rod pocket provide different display options and this area is reinforced with an additional layer of fabric for greater stability. The valance has no header, which finishes the design with a crisp tailored top edge

• Valance can be adjusted with the ties to hang as high as you like on the window. The matching fabric ties measure 28" long and are secured along the top half of the valance, front & back. No header, 3" rod pocket or use fabric loops on the back side for an alternate hanging option, Lined valance.
• 100% cotton. Deep blue and creamy white gingham check fabric, lined with white sheeting.
• Dry cleaning recommended to help prevent shrinkage. Or, if you choose, machine wash cold, gentle cycle, like colors, no chlorine bleach. Tumble dry low, air fluff or line dry, iron if needed.
