“When it’s time for a dose, a low-frequency alarm and flashing light signal the user for up to 30 minutes (adjustable). To access the medication, the user slides the med door forward, which stops the alarm and reveals the current dose.
Medications are dispensed via a sloped exit ramp, making pill retrieval easy and convenient, especially for users with dexterity issues. The med door may be left open or closed after a dose, and it automatically resets, ready for the next scheduled dose.
The locking lid ensures that medication is safe and accessible only when it’s time for a dose. Only one dose is available at a time, reducing the risk of tampering or accidental overdose. “
