(Cannot be used in a washing machine.) *Kotatsu Table is not included. ■How to choose the size of a kotatsu futon Ideally, a kotatsu futon should be about 43in to 51in (110cm to 130 cm) larger in both length and width than the kotatsu tabletop. For example, if the kotatsu table is a square table with 31in (80cm) on each side, the ideal size of the kotatsu futon is 74 x 74in to 82 x 82in (190 x 190cm to 210 x 210cm). However, these days, kotatsu tables tend to be taller. The average height of a kotatsu tables are said to be about 15in (39 cm). If your kotatsu table is taller than the average height, a larger kotatsu futon may be more suitable. There is no problem if the kotatsu futon is larger than the ideal size (it is rather easy to warm up), but if it is smaller, there is a possibility that there will be gaps and warmth inside will escape. If you are not sure about the size, we recommend that you choose a larger size. ■About Compression Packing We may ship in compressed packaging. Please open the package and unwrap the futon immediately upon arrival. After a few days of use, air will enter the futon and it will return to its fluffy state.
