Description:
Rare set of 6 vintage Lotus Mid Century "Oil Derrick" glasses from the 60’s in their original packaging and unused condition.
These lowball whiskey rocks glasses feature a deep black oil rig pattern with 22k gold rims on the top and a thicker 22k gold band on the bases and the bottoms are clear.
Made by Lotus, many attribute this pattern to Culver. It was actually made by Lotus in the 1960s. Culver did make an opaque black pattern that included gold oil derricks, but the pattern here was made by Lotus Glass Company.
Each glass measures about 4.25” inches tall x 3" in inches in diameter. They each weigh 11.25 oz.
They have a nice solid heavy feel to them.
All of these glasses are in UNUSED & IN MINT Vintage condition.
No chips or cracks or scratches!
