Filmmaker Ginger Kathrens has documented the mustangs of Montana’s Pryor Mountains for decades, including the palomino stallion Cloud and his family. Encore, Cloud’s look-alike daughter, was born in 2013. After being stolen by a group of bachelor stallions as a yearling, her luck changed when she was championed by the young roan stallion Knight. In August 2019, Encore and Knight welcomed their first foal, Tor – a black colt with a white star like Cloud's own sire Raven. Living wild and free, Encore and Tor will continue Cloud’s story that began in those same mountains decades ago.
