ALFA AUSBC-10m is a 10m (~32 feet) active repeater USB extension cable. An active repeater cable is a special type of USB cable that buffers power over the distance of the cable. Standard passive extension cables- the kind you may find online or in office supply stores for a few bucks- do not buffer the power signal and lose power over the cable length. This means they cannot offer enough power for high consumption devices.
